Release pursuant to section 26 para. 1 sentence 1 of the German Securities
Trading Act (WpHG) with the objective of Europe-wide distribution

The following entities, with regard to their respective shareholding in SHW
AG, Aalen/Germany, have notified us by voting rights notification pursuant
to sections 21 para. 1, 22 of the German Securities Trading Act (WpHG) as
follows:

1. Norges Bank (the Central Bank of Norway)

On 1 November 2013, the stake of Norges Bank (the Central Bank of Norway),
Oslo/Norway, in the voting rights in SHW AG exceeded the threshold of 3%.
On that date, Norges Bank held 3.05% of the voting rights in SHW AG
(178,741 voting rights).

2. Ministry of Finance on behalf of the State of Norway

On 1 November 2013, the stake of the Ministry of Finance on behalf of the
State of Norway, Oslo/Norway, in the voting rights in SHW AG exceeded the
threshold of 3%. On that date, the Ministry of Finance on behalf of the
State of Norway held 3.05% of the voting rights in SHW AG (178,741 voting
rights).

3.05% of all voting rights in SHW AG (178,741 voting rights) were
attributed to the Ministry of Finance on behalf of the State of Norway
pursuant to section 22 para. 1 sent. 1 no. 1 WpHG. The afore-mentioned
3.05% of the voting rights in SHW AG (178,741 voting rights) were
attributed to the Ministry of Finance on behalf of the State of Norway from
Norges Bank, Oslo/Norway, a shareholder holding a stake of 3% or more in
the voting rights in SHW AG.
