The following companies, with regard to the respective shareholding in SHW
AG, Aalen/Germany, have notified us by voting rights notifications pursuant
to sections 21 para. 1, 22 of the German Securities Trading Act (WpHG) as
follows:

1. Schroders plc

On 4 September 2014, the stake of Schroders plc, London/United Kingdom, in
the voting rights in SHW AG fell below the threshold of 3%. On that date,
Schroders plc held 2.99% of the voting rights in SHW AG (175,188 voting
rights). All such voting rights were attributed to Schroders plc pursuant
to section 22 para. 1 sent. 1 no. 6 in connection with sent. 2 WpHG.

2. Schroder Administration Limited

On 4 September 2014, the stake of Schroder Administration Limited,
London/United Kingdom, in the voting rights in SHW AG fell below the
threshold of 3%. On that date, Schroder Administration Limited held 2.99%
of the voting rights in SHW AG (175,188 voting rights). All of these voting
rights in SHW AG were attributed to Schroder Administration Limited
pursuant to section 22 para. 1 sent. 1 no. 6 in connection with sent. 2
WpHG.

3. Schroder Investment Management Ltd.

On 4 September 2014, the stake of Schroder Investment Management Ltd.,
London/United Kingdom, in the voting rights in SHW AG fell below the
threshold of 3%. On that date, Schroder Investment Management Ltd. held
2.99% of the voting rights in SHW AG (175,188 voting rights). Thereof,
1.64% of the voting rights in SHW AG (95,888 voting rights) were attributed
to Schroder Investment Management Ltd. pursuant to section 22 para. 1 sent.
1 no. 6 WpHG and 1.36% of the voting rights in SHW AG (79,300 voting
rights) were attributed to Schroder Investment Management Ltd. pursuant to
section 22 para. 1 sent. 1 no. 6 in connection with sent. 2 WpHG.
