Release pursuant to section 26 para. 1 sentence 1 of the German Securities
Trading Act (WpHG) with the objective of Europe-wide distribution

The following entities, with regard to their respective shareholding in SHW
AG, Aalen/Germany, have notified us by voting rights notification pursuant
to sections 21 para. 1, 22 of the German Securities Trading Act (WpHG) as
follows:

1. Norges Bank (the Central Bank of Norway)

On 7 November 2013, the stake of Norges Bank (the Central Bank of Norway),
Oslo/Norway, in the voting rights in SHW AG exceeded the threshold of 3
percent. On that date, Norges Bank held 3.06 percent of the voting rights
in SHW AG (179,141 voting rights).

2. Ministry of Finance on behalf of the State of Norway

On 7 November 2013, the stake of the Ministry of Finance on behalf of the
State of Norway, Oslo/Norway, in the voting rights in SHW AG exceeded the
threshold of 3 percent. On that date, the Ministry of Finance on behalf of
the State of Norway held 3.06 percent of the voting rights in SHW AG
(179,141 voting rights).

3.06 percent of all voting rights in SHW AG (179,141 voting rights) were
attributed to the Ministry of Finance on behalf of the State of Norway
pursuant to section 22 para. 1 sent. 1 no. 1 WpHG. The afore-mentioned 3.06
percent of the voting rights in SHW AG (179,141 voting rights) were
attributed to the Ministry of Finance on behalf of the State of Norway from
Norges Bank, Oslo/Norway, a shareholder holding a stake of 3 percent or
more in the voting rights in SHW AG.
