The following entities, with regard to their respective shareholdings in
SHW AG, Aalen/Germany, have notified us by voting rights notifications
pursuant to sections 21 para. 1, 22 of the German Securities Trading Act
(WpHG) as follows:

1. BlackRock, Inc.

On 5 November 2015, the stake of BlackRock, Inc., Wilmington, DE/U.S.A., in
the voting rights in SHW AG, Wilhelmstrasse 67, 73433
Aalen-Wasseralfingen/Germany, exceeded the threshold of 3%. On that date,
BlackRock, Inc. held 3.11% of the voting rights in SHW AG (200,228 voting
rights). Thereof, 0.16% of the voting rights in SHW AG (10,095 voting
rights) were attributed to BlackRock, Inc. pursuant to section 22 para. 1
sent. 1 no. 1 WpHG, 0.11% of the voting rights in SHW AG (6,938 voting
rights) were attributed to BlackRock, Inc. pursuant to section 22 para. 1
sent. 1 no. 2 in connection with sent. 2 WpHG and 2.95% of the voting
rights in SHW AG (190,133 voting rights) were attributed to BlackRock, Inc.
pursuant to section 22 par. 1 sent 1 no. 6 in connection with sent. 2 WpHG.

2. BlackRock Holdco 2, Inc.

On 5 November 2015, the stake of BlackRock Holdco 2, Inc., Wilmington,
DE/U.S.A., in the voting rights in SHW AG, Wilhelmstrasse 67, 73433
Aalen-Wasseralfingen/Germany, exceeded the threshold of 3%. On that date,
BlackRock Holdco 2, Inc. held 3.11% of the voting rights in SHW AG (200,228
voting rights). Thereof, 0.16% of the voting rights in SHW AG (10,095
voting rights) were attributed to BlackRock Holdco 2, Inc. pursuant to
section 22 para. 1 sent. 1 no. 1 WpHG, 0.11% of the voting rights in SHW AG
(6,938 voting rights) were attributed to BlackRock Holdco 2, Inc. pursuant
to section 22 para. 1 sent. 1 no. 2 in connection with sent. 2 WpHG and
2.95% of the voting rights in SHW AG (190,133 voting rights) were
attributed to BlackRock Holdco 2, Inc. pursuant to section 22 par. 1 sent 1
no. 6 in connection with sent. 2 WpHG.

3. Black Rock Financial Management, Inc.

On 5 November 2015, the stake of Black Rock Financial Management, Inc.,
Wilmington, DE/U.S.A., in the voting rights in SHW AG, Wilhelmstrasse 67,
73433 Aalen-Wasseralfingen/Germany, exceeded the threshold of 3%. On that
date, Black Rock Financial Management, Inc. held 3.11% of the voting rights
in SHW AG (200,228 voting rights). Thereof, 0.16% of the voting rights in
SHW AG (10,095 voting rights) were attributed to Black Rock Financial
Management, Inc. pursuant to section 22 para. 1 sent. 1 no. 1 WpHG, 0.11%
of the voting rights in SHW AG (6,938 voting rights) were attributed to
BlackRock Financial Management, Inc. pursuant to section 22 para. 1 sent. 1
no. 2 in connection with sent. 2 WpHG and 2.95% of the voting rights in SHW
AG (190,133 voting rights) were attributed to BlackRock Financial
